who do you set as playmaker

which position do you give the playmaker role. i only use it when there is a set centre position (5-man midfield or diamond midfield (then i give it to the att. midfielder)). but i don't really know if this is what it should be...should it perhaps be a defensive midfielder? i duno - and what attributes make a good playmaker? i reckon creativity, passing - maybe i'm completely wrong and it should be a good dribbler or something. help me out please!

depends on which team you are, If You are a top team you dont need a playmaker but if you are a weaker team then I would set my most creative midfielder to that role!

Look at Madrids tactic or Frances tactic.
They don't use a silly 3-5-2. I recommend you to post your offensive midfielder in the middle with an arrow forward.
This is also Lazios and Romas tactic. Look at Totti's position and copy it.

the best position to give the playmaker role to is the centr midfield pos. or atacking midfielder pos. buy juan riquelme hes the best at this on the game.
