Who else thinks Max Bretos is the worst commentator ever?

Goodness, I get so irritated anytime this man takes the mic and talks. He shouldn't be commentator at all, the guy's annoying! How can u be talking about what happened last year in the French league while a team is about to score?

I mean the guy just wont shut up! Once he starts talking about something, he wont stop until he finishes, regardless of the action going on on the pitch. What do u guys think of him?

He was also pronouncing Mexes wrong.

Personally, I like them better than the ones on Gol Tv who don't have much Charisma.

I like Bretos more that Allen Hopkins though.

Tommy Smith is the worst commentator of all time. Max does not hold a candle next to him.

yes...he is terrible...tommy smith is just an old man....hes better just cause he doesnt have the energy that bretos has...like fernandez said...the way he exaggerates his words is so ******* annoying...the commentators from the Roma Celtic game were good...sullivan really knows what hes talking about and the other guy is pretty good cause hes positive during the game and keeps things pretty even.

yeah...Hopkins....hes very easy to listen too....Max bretos during one of the games said after Beatie scored a star is born and i almost felt embarrased for him watching it....just cause it was so corny.

Yeah, he's just really negative about everything. You should of seen the way he was slagging on Paulo Ferreira.

I like the guy....
I think he's the best American announcer by far....
I think he's witty and he knows his soccer very well.
he's very Enthusiastic about football and I like that...
plus I like him next to that Italian guy....

I think he talks like that because he thinks the Americans watching dont know sh*t about Soccer. But who would order FSW who didnt like or know much about Soccer? I also think he's obsessed with Soccer the way he exaggerates, like every little move someone does really fascinates him and gets him yelling about sumthin.

its not that he gets to excited in a bad way, its just that hes a goof ball and sounds like a moron sometimes....the guy who does Argetina league matches with him is pretty good as well..

Speaking of bad commentators, the worst commentator I have heard is one of Eurosport's Swedish commentators. He doesn't know how to pronounce foreign names and sometimes he says the wrong name. Also, he just says the most obvious things that everybody can see.

There was another Swedish commentator at a Champions League qualifying game the other day. A player was down injured and the commentator said something like "I'm not sure who the player is... I didn't really see what happened...". Then I thought "why don't you just go home, then?"

Max Bretos is ok, comparing to those TSN ppl during EURO (Carl Fletcher, etc.).

But I can't stand the Italian guy, Georgio. He's just annoying...

For FSW to be such a international company you would think that they would have a someone who is actualy likeable broadcasting there games, and who is the Italtian guy who sounds hung over.

Max isnt that bad man. At least he doesnt make the games boring. I can't believe Allen Hopkins is black. That voice just doesnt match a black man's voice. And is it me or does Hopkins and Bretos sound Very Very similar in tone.
