Who else thinks Max Bretos is the worst commentator ever?

I use to hate Bretos. But now I have come to enjoy him. I think it is that George Costanza method. The first time you hear him he sucks. The second time it isn't much better but the third time you can't get it out of your head. He is like that. The more you listen to him the more you will appericate him.

Im one of the rare breed that actually likes Bretos. As far as American announcers go, hes the best of the lot. He shows a lot of emotion. Allen Hopkins is a poor mans Bretos. And ya, i dont like Chinaglia(Italian guy) very much either.

The worst has to be Samuel Jacobo on FOX this guys can not remeber the players names and he sucks at his commmentary.. they should fire him soon.. During the final of Copa Libertadores they had people calling live and about four people called to complain about Samuel Jacobo's aweful mistakes when commentiating.. FOX Please get rid of this guy...

It is so true its freakin scary. Bretos sounds A LOT like Hopikins. The main difference is that Hopkins isn't as lively as Bretos. IMO Bretos kicks ass. He puts feeling into the game and isn't boring with some monotone voice. Though I think Tommy Smith sucks.

I hate Giorgio cause he bashed Inter once and praised Lazio. Now who sucks huh? NOW WHO SUCKS? (H)

Though Miles really pisses me off. He talks like he knows what he's saying when he is a total dumbass. He's that sort of guy you love to hate :p

Though the best FSW Announcer team has to be that Webster guy and Bretos. They use to announce together for the La Liga games last year. They're an awesome team!

Though no one can beats that Spanish announcer on Telefutura and Univision (The Copa America announcer who screams GOLAZO AZO AZO, AZO AZO AZOOOOOOOOOOOOO):p

That guy actually kinda sucks.. u want real commentators with lots of talent and lungs you have to go down to South America.. those guys there make this US guys look like amateurs...

He'd be a lot better if he got rid of that idiot partner of his... all he does is make sounds like "oh" "ah" "uh" and "oooh" every so often.

But yeah... hes nothing compared to that guy that does the Copa Libertadores final. (Y)

One of the dudes that does Argentine football is actually quite good. I dont know his name but he sounds funny like his nose was blocked. They did the Boca Once final thats who im talkin about.

i agree bretos sucks, i saw the first half of a river plate game tonight and the guy could not stay on subject at all, he's bad. He was literally talking about disneyworld :kader:

the commentator with him was ok, dont know his name though

Yeah they do sound familiar, but Hopkins doesnt say stupid stuff or ennounciate every name!

DUDE, I too couldn't believe that Hopkins is black! He sounds like a white guy, very similar to Bretos. When they showed him during the Championship World Series, I was like WTH! :o

If you think Bretos is bad...

John Motson is a fucking terrible commentator. Everytime a spectator comes on the pitch its "oh dear...". Even when England weren't playing at Euro 2004 he'd still talk about them.

Martin Tyler was alright be he's also starting to be annoying with his "ONREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" literally everytime Onre scores.
