I never said that Evanescence were any good did I? I do think that they're crap but Kosheen is pretty cool.

If you're looking for German rock, alternative, punk, then listen to Sportrfreunde Stiller, they're awesome. Some of my favourite songs by them are Independent, Ein Kompliment, Wellenreiten, Nackt Baden Gehen, Komm Schonn, Tage Wie Dieser and more.

What German bands are good anyways, I like their music.

Kent is a very good Swedish band but I which I like and Swedish is a language which sounds much nicer then Italian and Spanish and French. Does anyone know what the best songs by Kent are?

PS.: What German band wrote the awesome song Wo Bleibt der Sommer anyways?

atari teenage riot and paul van dyk are from there, too.

Space Rock or more commonly known as Post-Rock. There are a few similar bands around. Godspeed! You Black Emperor, Meanwhile Back in Communist Russia and Explosions in the Sky being 3 of 'em.

A bit like Psychadelia for non-hippies. Or Orchestral work with a few guitars thrown in.
