Throne? At St. James? More like a stool.

lol, oi!

it doenst matter anymore anyway. I really think we'd even be better off with no manager until the end of the season. Just get Souey out out out out out out out.

What ever happens we cannot afford another flop of a manager. Over the past decade we've had Dalgleish, Gullit and Souness, all quickly appointed without much consideration.

Xifio, you don't think Chelsea would struggle without Lampard, Terry, Makalele, Cech and Duff, that's 5 key players, the backbone of the team.

it might require a change of system, yes, but I do think they would still manage ... Cudicini is an able replacement, Robben's there on the left, Maniche/Essien in the middle, Gudjohnsen's plays in the middle too, Gallas would move into the centre defense with Carvalho, and Del Horno would play at left-back ... Mourinho has his squad planned for situations like those ... the man has his sh!t down

your team Newcastle have a decent roster ... but as you yourself have said, they can't afford another managerial c0ck up ... Hitzfield would be a coup if you guys can lure him, but I doubt that will happen ...

Just curious, do you think Robson should of been sacked?

Narr i loved sir bobby he was great he retured us to the beloved newcastle we all know, but they shepherd dumped him :nape: and then replaces him with SOUNESS . :jambo: So they next game was against black burn, we beat them comfortably, and then saturday we play blackburn aand they beat us 1-nil??

SO souness left blackburn at bottom of league and now they have got better without him, and we have got worse. :nape:

O and to Top it Off we cnt sack him else he gets a 3-5 million pound pay off :rockman:

how the hell would Le Guen be a quick fix? He's one of the best managers in Europe. He was in talks with Benfica in the summer and we didn't sign him just because he wanted to bring his medic and fire our medic.. and honestly he would be getting like 100.000£ a month if that much. I bet Newcastle can pay him a lot more, so there is now way he wouldn't be up for the job, unless he already has something signed with Real Madrid or something.

He set up Lyon to be one of the best sides in Europe, after him being gone, that's one thing that Mourinho couldn't do for Porto (although Porto's board selling out the team didn't help).

I honestly don't know who are you waiting to be available in the summer, I'd take Le Guen over someone like Sven in a heartbeat.
is that directed at my comment?

Firstly, I dont think LeGuen would bother taking this job, especially now. Maybe in the summer, with a clean break and an opportunity to rebuild the squad in his mold, he might consider it. Now, i seriously doubt it

Secondly, he would not be a quick fix if he were put in tomorrow. But I doubt they would get him, or anyone of real quality sewn up in the next week, and thus, unless they have someone in mind and are already setting up negociations. Fire souness now, put an interim manager in place, and im willing to bet the pool of managerial talent will be even richer in the summer. Easy
