Why 2GF faces crash my game?

I've got several 2GF faces installed. However,strangely, some of them will crash my game while some won't! How does this happen and how can I distinguish between those faces tend to crash my game and those won't?

2gk faces are a great trouble in this Fifa07, me too got this problem, I solved it by using only 1gk faces, u have only to reduce the dimension of the file, for example if 512x256 is 2gk, with programs like photoshop or other ones u can convert the image and make it 256x128, the same for the hairs; after reistalling Fifa 100 times I discovered that the troubles were 2gk faces, u can control which faces are in double dimension using creation master and looking to the assets of the players u got, so reduce them in 1gk format and u'll never have crashes anymore.
Shame but it's the only solution I've found after treating this with many expert guys in the fifaweb.

If 2GF faces cause so many problems,why people still release them???

Also,some faces installed are in size 256X256! How can I modify then into 256x128 without photoshop?

they release them two reasons
1, Somebody only use a few 2G faces , and may not make game crash
2, If you change them into 1G, THE pitcure will be more clear than normal 1G face

U can use every program who allows u to modify the dimension of the image, if u don't have photoshop u can use another one, the most important thing is that the faces has to be 256x128, ciao
