I will start.....
I used to play for a small(actually tiny:) club at my neighborhood,for about 5 or 6 years,but i had to quit because of school,and my family. We were practicing three times a week,and we had a match on saturdays. It was pretty hard to combine that with school. And I also had to stay with my brothers at home until my parents came back from work...
Anyway,my career wasnt so promissing....My position was left defender, and i was ok...I liked more to be a left midfielder or a defensive midfielder, but my coach prefered me as a left defender. I also left because of the coach.He hated me exactly like I used to hate him. I wasnt happy at the club...
I miss the big pitch very much, but I will probably never have the chance to play in a team again...

If you had to finish your career for any reason,you are more then wellcome to write about it...

A career in football is not a good option in my country. That`s why I didn`t get to pro. If only my grandmother had moved to Holland decades ago like some of my relatives, I might be playin` with Heitinga right now . . .

I was close to getting called up for u-18 national squad but while clearing the ball of the line at training i banged my head against the post so damn hard and got a head injury that screwed my vision i have to wear glasses.Now i only play for fun with my friends.

If I were you I won`t let a couple of glasses ruin my career, I can just use contact lenses and continue goin` pro . . .

BTW, to the guy that asked, I live in Indonesia . . .

man that's so screwed up.. A friend of mine used to be a very promising player but then busted his hamstring and his career was over..

about myself, I never really was talented. Just a decent defender. I stopped 6 years ago.. I just got bored. I regret quitting though, I really miss the action

I tried to play with lenses and glasses, but its not the same anymore.I just couldnt find my form again and decided to quit (:/)

Played with my good old neighbouring pals.......was improving.......made a bad turn.......fell down with a seriously twisted ankle.....couldnt walk for 2 weeks....never been on the field since.......life sucks :kader:
