Sure i'm a bit upset now. But first and formost I support south america. Next I support Netherlands and France. Couple lines later Germany and Spain.

BUT I'LL NEVER SUPPORT ITALY!!!

Why idiot fans like Pablo Rossi. "I think I'm so great". I like Argentina because most of them are from italy. And other Bull_Sh!t like that.

First of all most Argentines are from Spain or cant you recognize that in their names, Diego, Carlos, Juan, Kily, Claudio.

Next your crap team was lucky to win. They beat the worst team in the world at penalties and they new it.

I can't wait til 2002 to hear you SOB's crying how unfair penalties are when a team like Germany, France, Brasil, Argentina send you packing home.

Problem is that only one of those guys will play in say the quarter finals of 2002 wc.

Lets say Pirlo. Great player like Vieri.

Now italy will hold 10 back with him upfront. Brasil or lets say for instance Germany will throw all they got. And poor Pirlo will be substituted by, um Ventola at 60min. Then again he will play defense.

Nesta will be fantastic, so will Caravanno.

Now were in extra time.

But this isn't holland. This is Brasil or Germany or France. And gasp... They can all score penalties easily.

In most likelyhood Zidane, Ronaldo, Rilemque etc would have scored a penalty in open play from a clumsy challange by one of your players.

When you make 100 tackles ONE will be bad in the box. And then your finished.

1. It doesnt matter how many offensive Italian prodigies are playing. Countries like Argentina, Brasil, France will have more.

2. France 50 year old defenders?? Ever hear of Domourad, Sivelistre etc?? New Thuram and Desially.

3. If Italy lost on PK's you'd cry how its unfair. But when they win, the defended gloriously!!

4. Unfortunately for you Italy ain't the only team with good young players. Rilemque, Alex, Ronaldinho etc are all future stars with much brighter futures than you can imagine.

5. Answer my question:

With Ventola, Totti, Pirlo, Vieri, do you expect Italy to attack in the knockout phase of WC2002??

What does 4 world cups have to do with them being the best team today .If Brazil would be that good as u all say ,they would 90 percent of their games and frankly they just keep tying against inferior teams or winning narrow victories against very weak teams like ecuador and Peru .Btw ,defensive football is as attractive as offensive football and yes Italy would beat Uruguay ,not by a big margin ,but easily 1 or 2 nil .Uruguay are not yet at that level .Its a shame that you people take defense for granted ,cause when you look at Italy ,they may not go on offense much ,but u have to watch out the counter attacks(ex;Delvecchio had 3 breakaways that could of ended the game very early ) .It doesnt mean that if they sit back that they wont try to score ,its just that they attack only when they need to know .Btw,If Italy has gone this far ,it is cause of their defensive tactics ,if they would play the attractive football like you like to say ,they wouldnt be here .Remember ,Nice guys finish last .
