Why is the game so slow?

Its so annoying. after the end of the season the game is too slow. after 10 minutes the days go up by only 2. Is there a way to make it faster? When im in the middle of a season then its really fast but not at the end of the season

HELP!! :(

no there isnt anyway, its because of all the free trasnfers and normal trasnfers.

Live with it or go play TCM

Please don't be shocked. It makes me feel insecure.

It took me nearly half an hour to get from 2nd July to the 3rd July (evening) 2007. I am running a 500mHz, 16mb GPU, 64mb RAM, 16gb (0.5gb free) HD. :D

That's a ghetto 'puter.

Delete the background folder, play in medium database and stay under the recomended number of divisions and close everything before playing CM.

Shokz has done it, and i did too. Nothing happened.:rolleyes: Look at my screenie at the screenshot showoff, the only change is that you dont see stadiums or SI guys at the back, plus it improves game speed.

I think he was referring to Ciaran, but it's still arrogant, and senseless. Idiot.

Deleting the backgrounds folder is a good idea, but by turning the background changes off, you will see the same effect.

Yes, I think 'twas aimed at me. I am patient, spent about 15 days of game time on it thus far. I kinda just walk away from my PC on Saturday afternoons whilst it is processing the results.

I'm running one league, small database and a lot of perseverence. I figure that I'd rather be playing slow than not playing at all.

And in response to the 'get a half-decent PC n00b' comment, I'd simply like to tell all that it quite possibly would be my first consideration should a spare £350-£500 be found lying about.
