This looks great. I have already started a new career with career mode patch 1.2. If i make the changes as suggested in the video will this corrupt my gamesave or will i being to carry on my my career without starting another new one?

Won't corrupt any save. You can use it on your on-going season.

Thanks. Have you got the updated ini files to share with us or will they be different for every game of fiffa?
Im a big fifa fan with my own 4k fifa channel on youtube. I love to be able to use the settings you have alterted in the video.
I dont have any monetisation of my channel i just post match videos for fun.

Sorry to bother you again. Im not sure what to do. I have imported the ini using frosty editor.
i have the career mode match patch added using frosty mod manager.
How do i launch the game using both the new simsettings and career mode mod together?

Just to update. I've played FIFA all afternoon with this new ini file and coupled with the patch it really makes a massive difference to the gameplay. The game is more direct and exciting. The cpu takes a lot more chances. The game is so much better now.
Thanks a lot for the help and files. It's terrible how ea leave the scripts in such a poorly written way. It's even worse how they've abandoned career mode because it's the FIFA Jewel in the crown for me.

Based on your video the file should work as it is only with 17 and 18. Before that the composure stat did not exist so the file need to be edited again, but you shown us how.

That's a good research. I don't want to be the developer that forgot to update the .ini files and left a feature big simulation broken (and tester never reported this... )

Is there any way to stop the spikes in cpu levels of play.
Ive been using the ini file from awesomegem combined with the career mode patch. Everything was fine at first with brilliant matches.
And suddenly the cpu stop playing. They couldnt pass anymore, couldnt shoot etc etc.
this was exactly how it was before I used the patches. CPU levels would spike up and down.

I am now winning every game 4-0 5-0 etc. None of the settings have changed but the cpu has just stoppped played. I switched the last match off as it was a complete waste of time playing.
Is there anything that can be done to stop this from happening? I play on world class level and i like matches to be hard and a challenge. as ive said the game was absolutely superb at first with the pacthes and for no apparent reason its a waste of time now as every game is a walkover.
I am sure other people have found these problems
Any advice etc would be greatly appreciated

You need to disable ADAPTIVE_DIFFICULTY and some MENTAL attributes. I have done so for my gameplay patch which is a modified version of paul's and beta's gameplay patch. However, it makes the matches way too easy for me.

I have also added FIFA18 AGPET 2.2 to fifa 18. This made things much tougher. But as we all know with fifa 18 this can suddenly chanhe without reason

You don't need to use Frosty Tools to edit gameplay settings. You do that by editing the locale.ini file on data folder.
