I use to score many headers so I think it's not hard, you must press R2 now to make some space to heading or push opponent who'd like to head the ball too
it's explained in Controls in training I think...

When I started PES4 I was thinking the same thing, but after playing dozens of matches and having lots of practice, it's somewhat easy (or more realistic). You can just blindly kick and hope someone will head it in. Use your radar. Also when crossing it in, I ALWAYS double tap as apposed to using normal cross. As for corners, I ALWAYS curver my shots in and pick a specific open player to pass it to, as opposed to just kicking it in front of goal.

it depends on how the corner goes, if the cpu defence fails to mark your players, if your players find a good heading position, its not so hard

yes i think they're better, pressing R2 is just great, many possibilities for heading

and on corners are very easy.

if you're on right: set a right player, turn the maximum to right, shoot with half bar and curve for left. someone on the 1st post will head in.

This is weird...

I was just about to start a thread complaining about how EASY it is to score headers.

On corners, I hold forward, nudge the direction left a little, power up to just under half the bar... results in a goal about 30% of the time.

On crosses, don't use the normal cross cause it's crap. you have to use the low hard cross, (double-tap). It's quite effective, especially against human players.

Well, I don't use the long & high cross.
Instead of that, I use the "hard" cross by pressing twice on the cross button.

The ball just goes lower and it's easier to the attacking player to get advantage the defender.

It's specially good when you play with the Wide camera and see your striker free. ;)

About corners... I'm not getting any from corners... :(

singletap=high and long (suited for tall strikers ex morientes)quite effective15%

doubletap=medium-height and fast cross(suited for short strikers such as Owen)very effective40%

tripletap=low cross(grounder suited for counter attacks)
quite effective15%

if headers go above bar, hold R2 for more space and move ~0.5m back

it's not that hard i score lotsa crosses and corners.

from corners cross towards the near post and often your guys will do tap ins...

btw if you tell your keeper to rush during corners he always takes care of them (unless they are short). it's been like that for ever. it's kinda stupid.

I also find heading more difficult. But the clue is to move your player a bit backwards with R2 otherwise the ball will go over the bar.. Als us double tap long pass...

easy way to score header:
when awarded a freekick on the edge of the box (it works from further away too but it's harder), aim at the penalty spot, very low power cross curled away from goal. if executed right your player will be one-on-one with an out-of-balance goalie:)
