Anyway the latest thing to get on my nerves are black nets for the goals in football games.
They seem to have crept back into the footballing landscape over the past year. Featuring in every game during Euro2004.
Apparently almost every champions league game is featuring them as well. And most surprising of all at Stamford Bridge too.
I can't think of a single good reason to have black ones instead of white.
Fact is you can't see much when watching it on tv and the expression "to see the ball hit the back of the net" loses a lot of its meaning.
If you happen to actually be at the game then it's worse if ever you hapen to be closer to one goal then the other will appear netless ... and you will rely on other supporter's reaction to know weather a goal has definitly been socred (they have black ones in the french league as well).
Well i just feel seing those white nets tremble is part of the pleasure of seing a goal being scored. I hope i'm not alone in feeling this way... black nets should be banned simple as that. Can't Blater do that instead of trying to come up with other crazy rule-changes
