I can get proper aspect ratio settings for any full screen resolution that we9le supports, but when i try and use a resolution by forcing it in kload.cfg that doesnt work even though my graphics card supports other modes. Is there any way of getting we9le to recognise other modes like 1280x720? because i can change my desktop settings to that resolution but we9le doesnt have a 1280x720 option. The reason i want this resolution is because this is a true 16:9 apect ratio whereas 1280x768(15:9ar) isn't, it should be 1366x768(16:9ar) if that was the case. Oh and another thing on my brothers computer it supports all the modes that i have, but his we9 supports less of them ie. my we9le recognises 1280x768, but his we9le recognises 1280x960 and not 1280x768 & 1280x720 even though he can set his desktop to 1280x720 & 1280x768. Maybe there should be an option to set a particular aspect ratio instead of relying on resolution to fix it.

edit:
ok i figured out that fullscreen forcing of resolution works with uncracked we9lek.exe, cracked we9l.exe but when i use ppf-o-matic exe patch for we9l.exe it doesnt work. I guess ill stick with normal we9l.exe.

you won't see that in the game's options/screen menu. If the game doesn't give you widescreen modes, then you cannot play it widescreen in a window - only at fullscreen. Edit the kload.cfg file, and put the native resolution of your monitor there. For example, a Dell 2005FPW has 1680x1050 native resolution, so then in kload.cfg you would have this:

dx.fullscreen.width = 1680
dx.fullscreen.height = 1050

now I can't download the file, I click the link, then click on the filename to download and it says "bad request" and I'm sent back to the download page
can anyone upload it somewhere else?

Sounds like an awesome breakthrough Juice - nice one!

The only thing is I never seem to be able to download from rapidshare. It always says 'download-session invalid'.

Does anyone know if you have to become a premium member to dload stuff from there? Cheers.

Juce: it worked wonders for PES5. now do you think you can make it for PES6? widescreen support is there, but the aspect ratio isn't.
