will the NK patch destroy my current manager mode?

What is the effect of the NK patch on ongoing Manager Mode games? Are you forced to start anew after installing this patch, or can it be seamlessly implemented into a Manager Mode? Please advise.

Also, how does the NK patch function with Creation Master? Does it have an effect on it?
