wingman action pad, how to map? HEEELP

I have the Logitech wingman action pad. The game pad has the 1-2 pass linked to the throttle, but it is too awkward to use, you have to reach up to move the throttle and return it back to the center exactly (otherwise it continues to pass, on and on) I have tried to set up the game pad to use the z button for 1-2 passes in the setup options within Fifa, but this has no effect, any changes I make here are ignored.

I have tried to use the wingman profiler to map the keyboard commands, but this also has no effect.


Please help, I am desperate.
