dah....OK....what a wanker. European momma's boys acting up again.
What are you talking about? Graphics in WE/PES games were never the point which was more important than Gameplay.. now it isnt either..
:boohoo:

I reccommend you to read this post.. :ewan: :ewan:

because KONAMI already push the PS2 graphics to the limit. you can't expect better graphics on current-gen console. you may said PC is way better than current-gen console now but don't forget, in fact KONAMI didn't made any "PC version" of WE/PES. all the games we playing at the moment are direct port from PS2. if you want superior graphics, wait for next-gen WE.

Well answer this then. If WE9 graphics are pushed to the limit then why are WE10 graphics the same? Isn't it supposed to be for next gen and pc?

They just don't care about graphics and making you feel like you're in a real footie match.

No, WE10 isnt a Next Gen title for sure.. Its made of the same graphic engine for the same systems like we9/pes5.. so you cant expect any more graphic upgrades.. its just a tweaked version with added animations, some new game modes and an updated roster..

For the Next Gen title i think we all have to wait for PS3..
And I'm sure Konami will make a far better job (also in graphics) than EA did with its new FIFA..
Just patience.. :ewan:

i dont understand why the hell pes games are always half-ass made, ud think that the pes engine would take up space on an entire cd, there are so many modes they dont have that fifa have...its pes still competes with fifa ud think the japs who make the game put some effort into it...seems like they make the game this way on purpose. as far as graphics, they could make the game fit for the xbox, then just port it to the ps2 since xbox is far more superior then ps2, also i mean there is no marketing put into the game whatsoever...things like this piss me off grrrr god damn :jap:

I do highly expecting the next-generation WE/PES series for PS3/Xbox 360 will include the linesmen during the gameplay. This is a-must-have feature for the next WE/PES game.

One thing Seabass appealed the most about this Winning Eleven 10 is
that its they tuned it so the player could score goals more easly
and passing successfully (not getting intersepted),
and also dribbling through players successfully.
He said that this gives the game more exhilaration (or what ever you call it).
And they tried changing Winning Eleven, from a Soccer Simulation software
to a Soccer "Game" software. So it has more Game-Feel,
then a Simulation-Feel (which the previous WE series had).
So although Winning Eleven 10 has the same graphics as the previous version,
I think its going to be alot different in a gameplay perspective.

But my worries are, that this game might become more easy and dull....
I think the DF in WE9 was just right. I don`t want it to become more
easy to dribble through them....

It's turning into FIFA
Thats exactly what I thought...

I`m not sure yet because I haven`t actually played it,
and I`m planning to buy it so I`ll write my impressions when I get it.
BTW, I`ve played WE5, WE6FE, WE7, WE7Int, WE8, WE9.
I`ll try to compare it with those so you can get the feeling of it.
(mainly WE9, because its the recent one I`ve been playing with.)

Also one more thing, the auto slide-dribble is gone.
Its back to R2+direction key. Sorry if this has already been posted.

Well I must say that PES 5 has been ever so slowly growing on me. I'm finally getting a hang of the offensive flow, effective passing and the best formation for me to use. I didn't like it much when I first started and I still feel there are some flaws that need to be fixed. The usual ones: too many fouls, the dumb ball going out of bounds cause you're winger jumps over it, and how many times have I watched players I'm not controlling completely ignore a ball thats rolling by them so some AI implovements would be nice too.

I do hope they don't open it up too much though. I imagine they'll bring the defensive pressure down and make shooting less powerful/accurate to compensate. One of the big things I noticed that made dribbling in PES 5 harder was how less effective doing 180 turns were to shake defenders. This was hard to get used to but its actually better I think cause only the great dribblers should be able to get away with it and you have to pick your times to do it carefully.

I'm going to take the plunge for WE10 and get a modded PS2 and then import it :rockman: . Guess I'll need to get a Japanese/Eng translation book too. It better not suck dammit.

The day that happens, will be the day I decide to go get Fifa.

EA should be the ones trying to imitate Konami, not the other way around.

Take the simulation feel away, and u just have an unlicensed game with inferior graphics.

I really hope all the things that Seabass said
would happen in a good way.
Not a bad way, like getting close to FIFA....

One good thing is that this time each team has there own
personality. I don`t know if they programmed this,
or just edited the team data like us users can before the game
or in edit mode (for example setting the offensive direction etc),
but if they programmed this, I think this is
a feature that we could look foward too.

But one thing I don`t understand is why they didn`t get
a license for the Brazil National Team!!
I live in Japan and not Brazilian, but they should of definitely
get the license for the Brazil National Team.
This team is one of the teams that might win the World Cup!!

I forgot to add that there are two feints (tricks) added.
Not just Matthews feint (trick), it said in the magazine that
V-feint is also added. So thats the second one.
Look at the tentou.wmv, at 3:12 it shows Matthews feint
and after that V-feint.
