Winning Eleven 9 International vs PES5

is there any difference between the 2 tittles? Im planning on gettin WE9I and I currently own PES5, any minor tweaks? Discuss please.

i dont think there is any difference between the two versions .the name changes simply because it is sold in different markets/

PES4 was different than WE:8i so you really never know for sure untill you play it.

Don't know if you have a modded PS2, but if you do, you should go for J League Winning Eleven 9 Asia Championship. I've tried both PES5 and this one, and WE is better.

the same differences are between PES for PC and WE for pC...(the old International) The WE9 for PC will surely better than PES5/pc, about A.I., gameplay and hardware pc optimization...Graphic will be the same...

If you want something different than PES play the japanese versions, LiveWareEvolution (aka Final Evolution) to be exact. That's the proper sequel.

The difference between the Euro and US version, if any, DO NOT justify paying 2x for the same game. The gamplay is the same. The engine might be rewritten slightly which will affect the gameplay and will give you the impression that the gameplay is modified.

Bit of a CONTROL FREAK eh Ibraca..dipstick , If an individual wants to buy PES 5 & WE 9 Its entirely up to them...NOT up to you and your great judgement.

It does not matter what you established 3 years ago, When I spoke to the Consumer Software Division in the Frankfurt Head Office they said that "Slight adjustments & updates by Konami USA had been made to the Ai, gameplay and optimizing the PC componants of the game compared with their Own version Pro Evo 5"......Thats a FACT

they are completeley SAME games but if you wanna buy the same game TWICE,

chronology:

August 2005: WE9 only for PS2 & Japan market (the old WE9)
October 2005: PES5 for PC, X-box, Ps2 and EUROPE MARKET
November 2005: WE9 Junior-League only for PS2 & Japan market (better than we9)

February 2006: WE9 (the old International) for X-BOX and PS2 only for American market
The other we9 version for pc in this period is only for Asian Market.

April 2006: WE9 (the old International) For PC only for American market

They aren't the same games!!! They are all similars but the gameplay is better in the NEW WE9 respect PES5!!! All is more optimized! Apparently the game could be the same but if you play it more, you can try differences of gameplay between WE9 PC and PES5 PC...

so if you dont wanna buy WE9 american version, It's your problem, but don't speak about things you dont' know!

at first WE series released in JAPAN but recently KONAMI found out that everybody buying the same game twice, than they decided to prepare the same game for other countries, and after a little differences they called the game "WE INTERNATIONAL"

everyone knows the two games are 99% similar, but the are never 100% the same. Example of the this was we8i being ALOT smoother than pes4. it also had updated signs etc.
