That's true. If you look on my website there is also a zip file with translation screens in it. It has most of the translation for the Master League within there so if you print those screens out you can get along fine.

Just zipped the patch file as some of you couldn't d/l it with your browswers in a .ppf format. Simply unzip the file and thep atch is in there.

No problems here, i have tried a few matches in the various cups etc and all the teams/player names i have seen so far are all in English, but when you go into the formation setings all the player stats are still in the Japanese Charactors, but at least it is a good start hey, also i didn't hook in the mem card/option file when i checked it all out . -- :)

If you read the other posts concerning thep atches it clearly states that I'm just hosting it, not the inventor of it. Making patches for PS2 games is far beyond me. The guy 2Die4U's forum is http://strider.sshel.com/technote/

Everybody and their dog knows I'm not trying to take credit for the patch any more than I am for the other files I'm hosting there.

thanks, i'll try that when i get home. i didn't think konami will save all the default player names into the option file. :confused:

Man...tell me why we had to wait for a Korean to create an "English" patch. I personally do not know how to create patches...but i'd be glad to help, in order to hook ourselves up.

And perhaps this way, the spelling will be more exact, since, well, it's our language. But I guess sitting back, and waiting for someone else to do it, is in fact, the American Way:kader:

Just a thought. I mean...what are the steps to creating kits, boots, balls, etc...how the hell do people go about doing these things...cuz I wanna do it!

Thank you for hosting the patch, works fine for me. Saved me the hassle of changing all the names and now alot of the in match menus are in english i can get practising for ML time when a full patch arrives.

I am very grateful to you for making this available, cheers mate :) :)

Well once i read that i have to delete my old option file I will skip this patch all together, because a friend that understands SOME japanese and I started a ML, I do know most of the menus in the game and ML... but I spend almost 2 hours, editing ALL ML teams to say the correct name, so if I delete my option file then the teams will go back to their stupid names again... not worth it... guess I'll wait till we get a full kit,team, name patch.
