That was a fluke and you know it. We have have reached the semi-finals in the last 3 tournaments we have participated in. Twice, we lost on penalties. At the end of the day we have:

-- Holland constantly reaching the semi-finals during big tournaments, impressing the world with their attacking football
-- Spain constantly choking, going home after either the group stage or the quartefinals and than going on to hire a racist coach

Spain can lose to Ukraine, thats real. But the fact is Spain played Ukraine twice, 2 years ago, and Spain won in Spain easily and tied in the cold Ukraine cause Ukraine scored in the minute 92.

Interesting. I'm sure AC Milan were completely content after "drawing" Liverpool after 120 minutes. You see, a lot of us are funny in that we consider the team to lift the trophy or the team to advance is actually the winner of the match. The team that does not advance or win the trophy? Losers.

I like Holland, but for some reason I just don't think they're a great team. I'm unconvinced by their midfield and defense. And does Makaay even play for you guys? In my predictions I have them going out to Germany. Actually, let me post my predictions; I have the big giant killers this time being Ivory Coast and Ukraine.

Apologies to Argentina, but that's a tough group and it seems like you have too many guys that are good at one thing or a few things, but not enough all around players.

There are two points of view. It depends on who you ask. If you want to bash Spain, you can say Korea beat them. If you want to defend them, you can say the ref disallowed 2 legit goals.

Spain lost the game in the penalties. However it's difficult to feel like you lose when the ref steals you 2 goals. They didn't even have to play the quarters since they robbed Italy before..
