I think the WC placings between the continents is almost perfect as it is with a few exceptions.
1) Europe having 14 teams is too few, give them 1 more team as was the case in WC 98'
2) CONCACAF should not have their 4th best team have a chance to be in a playoff for a qualification spot. Leave it to 3 concacaf teams at most.
3) Asia should not recieve a potential 5th team, 4 is good enough.
UEFA 15
S America 4.5
Africa 5
Asia 4
Ocieneia .5
N. America 3
This leaves us with Australia playing the 5th S american team in the only Inter Continential playoff for a finals place.
Of course the format would have to change from tournament to tournament based on who is hosting and the performance of the continents as a whole.

Asian teams (sometimes) make surprises. I didn't like South Korea from last time in the WC 2002. But, I see them as one best side now. Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, & Iran could go through to 2nd round. But, I see Japan are #1 now. They were superb in the Confederations Cup when they played Brazil.
Love to see what Ukraine could do in the WC 2006. Shevchenko could be one amongst best stars & top scorer in the WC 2006.
Germany need to replace Kahn or Lehmann. They are getting old & slow in the reaction. Klinsmann still have 11 months to find a substitute GK, but I doubt he's gonna find one.

Someone said about Europe having like 10 teams who can win the world cup, but only 4 have won it so far.
In my opinion UEFA gets too many places when OFC should get at least 1 or 1.5, and CONMEBOL deserved 1 more place.

Why in the god's name does Oceania deserve a full place or even more? They got one semi decent team over there, playing the 5th placed team of Conmbebol sounds like a fair task to me.

Ukraine is in one of the toughest qualifying groups and they are completely dominating it. They are undefeated to the likes of Turkey, Greece, and Denmark. They also won their game when Shevchenko was out with the facial injury. To say that they are a one man team is completely arrogant.

Other then Sheva, Voronin, and Biletsky, all our players play in Ukraine, and in ChampionsLeague contending teams, like Dynamo Kiev, and Shakhtar Donetsk. There is no lack of quality here.
