My ideal Portugal line-up would probably look like this, but it's pretty far fetched considering who our coach is... we all know Ricardo will play in net and demonstrate to the world why he's the worst keeper in the tournament

C.Ronaldo as lone striker? He's never played in thie position for Man Utd so its gonna be a risk in playing him there. If I were you, I'd prefer something like that:

last time we played only one DM in a major competition, it was due to media pressure that wanted the team to score more goals and play even more beautiful football and the result was one of the biggest embarassments of our football history.... USA 3 - Portugal 2.

As much as I'd like to see that tactic, there's no way we will underestimate our opponents again and play it, especially when we haven't played it in such a longe time.

and another factor... we're missing Jorge Andrade at the back and the defender that will fill in his spot whoever he might be doesn't have half his quality.
