I hope Portugal can improve our performance and win convincingly this time although if you ask me I'd rather finish 2nd in the group, because if we finish 1st the teams we can possibly get are Holland/Arg in the last16, England in the QFs, Brazil in the semis :(

Portugal will play amazing the first 5 minutes, get a goal, slack off for the next 80 minutes, and be shocked as Iran score two late goals for the win. (H)

Team Captain
The Iranians will get tired in the second half and eventually lose the match. This is not gonna be a walk in the park for Portugal though.

own goal by iran in the 2nd minute, then their keeper will be injuried in the 4th minute, and with 1 minute left of the 2nd half iran will score, but in the 89th minute portugal will score, and winn :D

I know but whoever thought of putting the scoreboard screen there has been watching too much NBA. In the England x Paraguay game a ball even hit it.

Portugal played like s*ht in the first game... just like some other top NT's...

Let's hope that they play better for now on... if they could at least, pretend that they're not in a playground, would be apreciated by the viewers...

a 1-0 win by any means necessary will suffice..

(c'mon, Ronaldo, get in thast penaly box and hit the floor, roll around, cry, whine about your period, etc) (H)

haha, f'ck off haters (H)

I'm hoping for a convincing win, had enough with embarassing performances.

we need to field a more creative midfield, Petit and Tiago were too freakin dull against Angola:
I'd go with Costinha in the holding spot, Deco playing as a pure number #8 like he does in Barça, and Figo playing loose behind Pauleta, he did a great job in that spot against Angola. I just believe he longer has the pace to perform a winger role convincingly.
To the wings, Simão dispite his weak display last match..and in case Ronaldo isn't fit I'd give a chance to Boa Morte. yeah that would be kind of desperate :|
if you ask me I say we are missing an extra option for the wings in the squad. wonder who that could be :fool:

2-0 for us, b'tches.
Pauleta and Figo to score (Y)

That would be awesome.

Disagree about Figo though, the guy looked like he was 25 again in the game against Angola, running all over the place and outpacing opponents.
