Absouletly change the original BALL_GRAVITY value to

BALL_GRAVITY = -0.297014 this value is what I gave it

you can tune it up

After changing no more sticky ball feeling.....And you will feel your

realy in the game.This I seriously

recommend for you people to change.

Ive changed it to 10.000.......

think should chnge between 10.0000 and 15.0000

ball stays closer to the ground when normal passing is done.

and be sure to edit the power up rate tune it up as high as you can.

More accurate heading and passing is done when it is tuned up.

In real life when I want to pass I do it in a second the height and distance doesnt matter.

Wow now the game is fantastic...

Ohh and tell me how far you can tune up the powerup rate please

Ive done it to 99.

Not sure if 99 is acceptable cause it sais between 16 and 25....still
game doesnt crash....and cant notice a very big difference between 99 and 25.

Any othe opinions Share please.....

You probably dont want to hear this from me as i must be the only guy in here who dos'nt actually play soccer...but your most recent tips work AWESOME...took a little getting used too (that pwr up Max setting, Whew...I think my first shot still has'nt landed)!!!!Just beat Spain w/Argentina 2-0 in PRO. Actually considering World Class! Imagine that. A non-player to boot.

hy!! try this. If you don´t want so many passes by the cpu, dont disable CPUKEEPAWAY, put in CPUMINDRIBLLETIME 83 or more.
The ini works inverse, if you put the logic less number works an inverse.Try changes the rainbow (i still tryng with this) height and distance and add RAINBOW_SIZE. This variables change drastically the game of the cpu and the keepers. (i work now with 4 in height 4 in size and 8 in distance). The cross_peak_ratio and lob peak ratio is for the movement of the ball but make influence in tackles, try put cross in 3.
In cposhot accuracy in data the number 0.33 influence in the curve off the ball if you put 0.41 or more the cpu make shots near the post but not in the post, off course sometimes the cpu shot very bad but i make this change a few days ago and dont play so much the game.
Try stamina drop in 4.00 and in first stamina drop 0,11 this values influence the fatigue (in fatigue fat function put 0,30 or more) but influence in the tackles too, and the cpu make more fouls. In new tackles put tacklee bilp tolerance to 0 and above in agressive tackles blip time 400 and agressive tackle height 11.In pro mode put this values for the tackles ball size 10, tackler foot size 20 and tacklee foot size 35, in driblle time 70 0r 80 and the cpu dont playback the ball, the cpu does this a few times.
put a mayor value in cpu maxvariance (f.e. 48) and cpu dont make so perfcets shots.
Try this too. Change the size of the field, the adboards are the limit and the players have more space to play and think your moves, and make changes in defense tunnig (mark ball distance...)
I try to change tha gameplay and i work on that, but i dont have much time but try this changes and working on this.
I dont know how works exactly the RAINBOW but this value make a important influence in the game play.

I change the option that enabled again (life fifa 2001) the old defensives strategies (pression and offside)... The AI dont work wbouyt this like on FIfa 2001... (pressing is really poor), but i thing that makes more easy to make a good defense.. i will work on it and when it will be ready i will have my ini file finished... GL.

i did the changes in the ini file, to ball gravity and ball y speed, now the game doesn't even load, it crash right away after i double click the icon to load it.

what time does people come here??

I can't make changes to this file as the game won't run if I do, and I don't know how to edit it in DOS prompt. Would a kind soul please explain in simple language how to do this.

For change the ini do this.
Use EA GRAPH, open the ini file in the cmn.
extract all the big files in the ini to the desktop.
Maybe when you do this in aiprop, the program show a problem, so dont use mouse, use the keyboard.
Well, when you have all the files in the desktop open soccer.ini
Now, in order, open all notepad files, select all, copy and paste in soccer ini over the existing data. Do the same with all the files and you have a new soccer ini.
Delete the ini big in cmn and put your new soccer ini replace the existng soccer ini.

In this soccer ini you have all the data and the cpu read this before anything and the game works fine.
And now is more easy to change.

i really didn't need to do all this, just copied again the file, executed edit.exe (the msdos text program) on winmx, opened the file there, and modified it...

You can't clear the ball too far with this sets on gravity and y speed

i tried also to use the old passing system, but when u use it it passes the ball ok, but the player who receives the ball doesn't activate automatically...

also i tried to use the old shooting system, but doesn't seem to work properly as all the shots seem to be low.

u don't really need the dos prompt

just use the ms dos edit

go to execute in the start menu, write edit, and run it from there
then manage between the directories until u get to the file...
then edit it...
