world cup on sky sports?

Hey all you fans with Sky Sports,

Do any of you know whether or not Sky is showing the world cup? I would assume so since, well, this is Sky were're talking about, but when I was looking at the schedule online, I didn't notice anything about it. I also haven't seen any ads for the world cup on sky either. Anyone know whats going on? Is sky going to show the WC?

The World Cup is one of those events which is protected by Parliament in the UK so it can only be shown live on terrestrial TV.

yes it sure is. must be because uktv is owned by granada who will be showing them on terrestrial tv anyway.
