World Cup Program

Yes, you must be wondering what the deal with some thread with the title "World Cup Program." Well, your curiosity will pay off in my books. Anyways, what I created is a program that replicates the FIFA World Cup Tournament. The reason that it is a stand alone program and not integrated with the actual game is a)I live in the States, we haven't had the game long enough, and b)I play console games because I love laptops for the mobility and playing games on laptops have issues with some and I do not want to spend 40 buck on a game that might work. Anyways here are the features of this software:

-Play multiple tournaments at one time
-Play or simulate all 64 games based on team ratings given in the game
-Add new teams when patches come out
-Select any of the 32 teams to participate and the computer will fill in the rest
-Fully customize which team goes into what group before the tournament begins
-Edit Custom Team ratings and create custom flags for your favorite team and import them in (18 x 12 pixels)
-Includes suggestion sheet showing 204 National team names and abbreviations

Update 1

I just received my copy of the game and realized that Hungary is not in my software. It updated my website to correct this and if you do not want to re download it, you can create a custom team with a rating of 2.

Also, thanks for the comments, I will look into it and see what I can do.

I will do one for the Champions League, but I read that not all teams are present in the game, what would be a way around this, other than leaving the ones out and having people either create the missing teams themselves or include every team for someone to pick. Also I am looking into what Korea da BEST said to see if my program is lacking in any way.

Yes, it includes all the national teams in FIFA 2004 and the team simulation games are based on team ratings taken from FIFA 2004.

I see in the tournaments section in the game that there is only the domestic cups. I presume that to play in the Champions League or UEFA Cup you have to do a career with a team in the competition (or get in there yourself in the net season!). There aren't any International CUps either, so do you have to do a career with an International team to get tem?

Hakeem, since the game does not come with an international cup, playing friendly's is the only to play. This helps the user keep track if they decide to play a World Cup. I would probably have made one that is integrated in the actual game, but I own the PS2 version and will not buy the PC game.

Yellow'n'Green, I haven't looked to see if career mode works for international teams, so I do not know if the World Cup is in the game or not.

I would be nice if this utility could enable 16 teams world cup as in the past.

16 teams divided in 4 groups

my suggestion would be to expend the database of the teams and create the qualifying stage and then the world cup tourney...
