World Cup Qualifier: Bosnia vs. Spain (P+R)

it is ours and Spain's opening match for the World Cup Germany qualifiers.

we tied France in Rennes about two weeks ago so that tells us that we can compete with big teams... i think.

this match is being played in Zenica and we never have lost a match there so we will see how this one goes.

i say 1:1, any predictions? :)

Man I'm really excited about this game. The fact that it is played in Zenica should help us a lot! I hope the team does their best and we will see from there.:)

make that 6 in 2 matches but yeah i guess you can say 9 in 3 since we are playing Andorra next :p but then the tough matches come agaist the Czechs and the Dutch.

I'm gonna try not to be overly realistic and say that Spain will give us a good round of humping........perhaps 3-0 :(

We have never had trouble against the weak teams in the group, never. We always thump them 5-0 or up so I'm not worrying.

Bosnia played vs France and the score was 1-1. We have to remember something. France is still a strong team however, it`s not the same team as it was before.

Zidane ( best mid-fielder in the world, also best player in the world all-together retired).

Thuram ( IMO best defender, even better than Nesta ) remember that game France vs Croatia in WC France 98 ?

Desailly (quality player who also retired)

Lizarazu ( I always had respect for this player. His speed and his crossing skills were highly recognisable. ) .. so when Bosnia played France those key players were missing due to their retirements.. but Bosnia is getting alot of respect in the world as it should. After all, it`s also stated in Europe, and football was born in Europe. We all remember ex-yu was probably the best team durring 60's - 70`s and early-mid 80's. Susic, Sekularac, and those damn brothers were brilliant players.

It would be a good thing if Bosnia wins this one at least by only 1 goal. Spain is also missing Figo, and the only player I believe can damage Bosnia is Reyes now.

- The worst moment of it all, when Bosnia didn`t win againts Denmark in that Euro 2004 qualification match..

This is my pred. score list:

1) Bosnia 1 - 0 Spain
2.) Bosnia 0 - 2 Spain
3. Bosnia 2 - 2 Spain

When is this game being played ?? also can someone post Bosnia line-ups along with Spain`s.

Man don`t get me wrong. That match along with the France vs Brasil - FINAL was the best France 98 match ever. Suker`s goal was a classic one, but Thuram killed HRV. in the 2nd half.

Playing on sand, scoring an own goal and receiving two others from shots 30 yards out, I think I can let that pass but anyway are you saying Denmark is a weak team :o :o (H)
