Worst miss ever.

Not sure if I should be posting this in the game footage section, but it seems a little inactive there.

Anyway heres the video, judge for yourself if its the worst miss ever.
Ferdinand Miss (700k)

You need latest divX to watch it.

If you aren't sure exactly what happens (or haven't watched it) Rio Ferdinand touches the ball goalwards, as the ball is crossing the line Rio swings at the ball but gets a nudge from the keeper; he touches the ball with his heel knocking it into the arms of the keeper.

Well it made me laugh

Haha.. you must of ben kicking yourself. I did have a really bad miss by Heskey, heskey was right near the far post, beckham crossed it in from the otherside of the box, scholes did a diving header and it was pushed away by the keeper.. then it fell to heskey, thinking he was so close to score i thought i would shoot it at full power, but i didn't score.. he kicked it straight accross the goal line.

heh heh - pure class mate!

My worst was with Pro Evolution Soccer (1)

It was with Castello and I had managed to dribble past 2 players into the box, and there was just a defender and the goalkeeper to beat so I took a shot.

I accidently cancelled the shot by performing a dummy, which took castello past the defender and also past the keeper who was desparately grabbing at his feet.

Castello managed to swerve quite beautifully and there it was, an open goal and only 5 yards out. Castello sodding hoofed it at full power over the crossbar and probably into the next country.

I couldn't believe it.. I really needed that goal :)
