Worst PK system ever!

Has anybody with FIFA 06 RTWC for the XBox 360 taken PKs yet? Is this not the worst view and PK system ever? Honestly, I thought the game itself wasn't too bad and it's certainly smooth but it's a joke and a complete lottery for the PKs.

I'm still waiting for a game with a decent PK system. Even Pro Evo series, it's ridiculous.

Yep, even in PES/WE, the view changes at the last moment so the direction you press to dive changes by 45 degrees. You'd think it would be the easiest part of the game to design yet everybody seems to screw it up.
