hi ppl...new to these forums so i don't know if this has been discussed.

why do the players in PES/PES2 always automatically run to the ball?!?!?!? this is so frustrating?!?!? for example if the opposition kicks it and you want to let the ball run out you can't, because the player will run to it automatically and put it out?!?!?

anyway to get rid of this feature???!?!

Sure is. I think you hold L2 and R2 at the same time and any of your players running towards the ball will stop leaving you to claim a throw in or goal kick.

It's actually R1+R2 that you need to press to regain some control over those "wayward" players.

You can also use it use to move your player when he decides to just stand and wait for a pass to reach him, and in various other situations, although it doesn't always work.
