Hi,
I finally managed to change the shot speed using a hex editor. I took the config.ini and ini.big files from 'RealMX Realism Patch 2.0' and increased the shot speed.
But this led to the game speed increasing (not in the actual files themselves; the values stayed the same) which caused several wierd effects. The AI also changed their style of play slightly (altho some of it was because I couldn't do as well at the increased speed). Finally, when players tackled, the ball would go flying through the air really high!
I've decreased the speed down to minimum now and most of this is solved, but the AI have changed a bit still. I can't understand why it did this. I only changed the shot speeds!!
Has anybody else had similar experiences or is it just me?
Lets hope the full game doesn't need loads of fiddling.
