X Box vs PS 2

I was wandering which was better to buy. There are two offers at my local store PS 2 for 19.000 kr (which is good price) or X Box + two games for 24.000 kr. My favourite game is Fifa and I like Club Football so far. Can anyone help me?

The days pass by and the Ps2 looks more of an ancient console compare to the Xbox. While Sony's future is the PS2, Microsoft has laready said that Xbox is its future. Ever since January the xbox has pull away in the graphics and gameplay department of multiplatform games.

Xbox also received the prize for best E3 showing among consoles.

You should get Ps2 if you want to go Online with Fifa this yearand like Japanese Rpgs.

O yea Xbox also has the best online plan.

PS2 wins by far for football games

Both consoles have a great selection of games but even though the Xbox has the edge technically i'll still go with PS2 for the simple reason becuase of the PES series and the GTA games

X-Box : better specs, very rare exclusive contracts with developers, that means few great games like Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, and WE.

PS2 : lower on specs, veteran in console market, lots of exclusive contracts, more games.

I personally suggest PS2, cos` Dreamcast also better in specs compared to PS2, but look what happens to them now . . .

XBOX - Better grahics, and online play

PS2 - Better games and gameplay.

So take you're choice I personally like better games and gameplay over graphics and online play esspecially because I could get that on my PC.

xbox because its cheaper, has way more features, no need for memory cards, ethernet adaptors or multitaps, totally destroys the Ps2 when it comes to graphics and sound.. and it has its good share of exclusive games too..

PS2 has more and better games, better gameplay, and the controller isn't f*ckin huge and complicated like XBox's

Well i own both, so i can just tell what's best of each.

X-Box :: You may hear that it blows anything else in graphics, but that
is absolutly wrong, the graphics are good but not the best, i've seen ps2 games as good. Mutiplayer for the x-box seems a little too complicated, i don't really use it for multiplay. It has great games such
as Morrowind, but it is good only for hardcore gamers.

Ps2 :: No one can beat the line up of games for the Ps2, with all the
genres extensively covered, and all the great imports. Great graphics and gameplay can be found in may games, Multiplayer is great for beginners or hardcore gamers. And with great games coming up like GT4, GTA4, you can go wrong on buying it.

All in all u might as well wait and get this baby...

I really dislikt the XBOX game pad, its no good the buttons aren't it places which are best for your fingers.

The PS2 pad fits in your hand nicely and the buttons are perfectly placed, its the second best pad ever behind the N64 pad.
