XGK 2.0 Problems

I got the essential files for the XGK 2.0 from FIFA Express and installed them. But when I try to play, the game gives me an Ilegal Operation message! What the hell is going on?! I installed some new XGK 2.0 kits but still doesn't work! I had to reinstall World Cup and gave up.



Could you help me?

what's the error message??
and btw, you could've just search for a few thread here from people that had this problem.

And I can tell you that probbably is cuz of the runtime routine.
Go to the Visual Basic site and download the latest runtime routines.
If you cant find them in there, go search for them in google

I desperately need help, because XGK 2.0 Kits are very very cool.

I never played like that. I play at 640x480 or what the hell :D The game only started to crash when I installed the XGK 2.0 essential files!

Well, in that case it SOUNDS(I repeat SOUNDS) like the vido card and computer you have is similar to mine..not upto PAR !

Does it work when you play with teams that you didn't install XGK kits for?

Also, try a higher resolution than 800x600. That may be it also.

It's not a question of video card! It's because I installed the XGK 2.0 essential files! Before that I never had any problem.

Eg. In FCDB XP 2, when I go see the kits, the jerseys' sleeves get invisible!

And when I go play a friendly, it loads, the normal stadium general view appears... and when I press ESC to skip that, the game crashes! I had to reinstall the game!


I'm asking for an answer for the XGK 2.0 problem, not for any video card problem! PLEEEEEEEEEASE!:confused:

You don' t realise one thing BUDDY......the thing you are experiencing is a VIDEO CARD problem ! That is exactly what happens when u have a conflicting video card ..... XGK 2.0 is not compatible with all cards. If u tried using a different resolution but still did not get the game to work, then it is larger problem and will most likely require that you ask a more experienced individual on here to help you(IF THEY DECIDE TO that is)

Believe me, 3m1n3m, we're just trying to help. The XGK modifies things that do involve the video card. I think you can find more info on this forum by searching on XGK and video.
