Y!m issue

I've got a problem with my Yahoo! Messenger. everytime somebody tries to send me a file, or when I try to send someone a file, it crashes. this started happening like a week ago. I've tried reinstalling, deleting it from the registry, and it still occurs (I take it that the problem isn't with the program itself). also ran some NoAdware scans, succesfully removed the spam stuff I've got but the problem is still there.

try a different application version, older newer whatever

there must be a solution, really . I've tried different antivirus & antispam programs and it's still not working. reinstalled, installed different versions, reg cleaning, etc. but nothing. strange thing though that from time to time it does work, but the next time I open the program it starts happening again.

could it be ISP related?

whats the difference betwen MSN and yahoo messenger? my yahoo messenger works fine for me...i think yahoo messenger is way better than msn...
