I think it's great to see EA really adding more depth to the game. Usually, you wouldn't expect this type of mode from FIFA, as it really does feel arcade in many ways, but now...I believe this could be a LOT more simulation then we ever imagined.
I just hope that what happens on the pitch is FOOTBALL and not some other sport EA have created by accident.
Hey, what are your thoughts on the Football Fusion? I think I might get both FIFA and TCM this year; I've always liked managing, but got annoyed that I can't play the matches. Well now it is possible and this is brilliant, so I want to do this and also import teams that aren't in FIFA from TCM and have a laugh doing that.
The great thing about Football Fusion is that it has 50+leagues, so when you get someone here moaning that FIFA 2004 doesn't have the team called "myhdgetgfjs" from the Moon or whatever, well I'm sure TCM will have it. The only down side is that you have to buy two games. But all is well if the gameplay for both games is brilliant, but the main thing this year is that FIFA 2004 just HAS to play fantastic, or I don’t think I’ll be buying it.

Glad to hear from ya I havent been around for some while since I was on vacation.And read about the stuff fifa did in a Internet Cafe on the soccergaming site a while ago.And was just amazed.Anyway yeah doesnt it sound so cool that we will have some huge different concept on our machines.And yes alot more simulation : ).Yeah I did hear about the football fusion.Do you remember or have you heard the same thing was once done by the mighty Steve Screech and Dino Dini (programmers) for the Kick Off series where you could load your created teams from player manager to Kick off and play the europion competitions on kick off : ).I loved that so much so Im sure will love this too.
the only problem 2 games and that sucks.
