Although Its only speculation.

I don't actually remember him quoted as saying he was going to leave if Liverpool do not get that CL spot.

it was his freaking agent that said he will leave liverpool unless we qualify for the CL spot and not him.. and his agent was sack by owen just after he made that comment

imo the press and the fans should give the lad a break.
he's just coming back from a serious injury and he's only 24.
if you look at his over-all achievements it's a tad better than most of the footballers.

As someone said in cricket, form is temporary while class is permanent.

Tho' I hope the injuries to Owen have not had a major impact on his performances as in he looks to be taking a bit more recovery time than usual for a footballer.

Hope the blighter is all well, and stays at Liverpool, and prolly should get a change of agent
