How do you get that? I've got the Best Player award for every competition yet. I assume that's for the World Cup?
no it's not for the World Cup, though it obviously helps if you win the UCL and/or the WC ... but if you really have won a bunch of Man of the Match awards, culminating in Best Player awards for every competition, then I am quite surprised you haven't picked up at least the European Player of the Year award ...

I had PES6 last installed, and I was doing pretty good with my Babel-Huntelaar-Mitea partnership upfront in my Ajax team (H)

EDIT: yeah, PC & next-gen are all good to go ...

decided to get the latest patches for PES 2010 on PC, so I can play Be A Legend with the latest squads and kits before FIFA 11 and F1 2010 are released for 360 later this month ...

I am naturally starting out in Serie A ... chose to sign with Bologna:

in case you're wondering, I made my guy look like Dani da Cruz Carvalho ...

Xifio

The Von Trapps
^ I used to, but usually not any more ... it's only Dani's face though ... the physical and technical attributes are my own ...

notice the captain's armband in this pic:

playing in only my 14th pro match (most of them as a sub), the manager decides to make me a 17-yr-old captain in a Cup game (H) ...

EDIT:

did the double with Bologna:

MVP d'Italia:

sharpshooter winger celebrating being the Capocannoniere and ESM Golden Shoe winner:

tribute celebration, to a legend who was inspirational even at the not-so-greatest of times:

first national team call-up (thankfully Prandelli has replaced Lippi in this revisionist tale):

debut goal for the Azzurri, and look who's first over to celebrate with me (H):

won't get any playing done till next weekend at the earliest, so I'll have to wait a while to see if I can help Fantantonio in leading the Azzurri to World Cup glory! and thereby leading myself into contention for the Golden Ball!

Campione del mondo!

lady luck must be italian, coz she was omnipresent all the way to the cup ...

after a 2-0 win over Chile in the opening match, I scored the winner against Nigeria in the second match to set up a clash against Russia for top spot:

Cassano got the goal against the Russians, and we won the group ... but that proved to be a more crucial moment than I could have expected:

finishing second in that group would have meant would have been Spain first, then France, and then England on the route to the final ... but coz we finished top, our route was arguably the easiest of all time: with Greece, Mexico, and South Africa ...

still, we contrived to make it difficult ... after aptly scraping through 1-0 against the Greeks, I scored deep into added time in extra time against the Mexicans to send us into the semis (hence the over-the-top celebration):

I then grabbed all 4 assists against South Africa to go top of the Assists Standings (total 6), and take us to a rematch of the previous World Cup final ... this time 90 minutes was all that was needed, as I gave Gilardino a tap-in to win the Cup!

I was reeeeallly tempted, especially after seeing this:

(awesome that it correctly simulated Inter to the 09/10 final ...)

oh and you might be interested in this:

but despite the lure of the European champions and the team I've supported since childhood, I chose to stay with Bologna for one more year ...

the way the game works, you go from age 17 to 18 during your first season ... so I thought it was best to stay in Italy, where I am a legend for pulling off the left-wing-equivalent of Pelé (from 1958) ...

and having qualified Bologna to the Champions League, I'm a Bologna legend too ... so I'll get tons of experience [points] as an automatic starter, and grow that much faster at Bologna than I would at Barcelona ...

after EURO 2012 (which means 2 more seasons, putting me at age 20), I think it'll definitely be time to move to Barcelona or Real Madrid ... I may move to Milan for a year to play alongside Zlatan, but they'll have to first make me an offer ...

commemorated my first goal of the season in the opening match with the 'open chest to the fans, slapping the heart/badge' celebration, a sign of my love for the club and the tifosi (H):

the Champions League kicked off in charitable fashion: league champions must be automatically seeded in the group stage draw, coz we got handed a very negotiable group:

just love the authenticity of the Champions League experience in this game!! from the TV-style presentation, to the Champions League badge on the right sleeve:

I then repeated the aforementioned 'slap-chest' celebration in the first Champions League home game:

Close to finishing the season with Chelsea, where I've started pretty much every game just behind Drogba. It's been too easy, and I'm definitely gonna up the difficulty if I can in preseason. Played around 40 games, getting 30 something assists and around 80 goals, helping Drogba out as well, as he's around 40. I've scored more league goals than any other team in the league. If I were a team, I'd be the 6th highest scoring team in the world. Definitely hope I can change the difficulty, otherwise this will become too boring very quickly. I've already started having to give myself challenges and resent the lack of believability. Mostly I just get the ball on the wing, perpendicular goal, and try to score nice longshots.

I'm in my first CL against Barca, which I'll win, as well as in the FA final against City, and we've run away with the league.

I've started dying my hair weird colors and wearing flamboyant boots... yeah.

it has always been boring for me to emulate myself as a pro footballer, but I gave it another chance in Fifa2010 Be a Pro mode.. I've picked my old favourite Roterham Utd as my team, which I, as a manager, previously had a similar challenge you folks have faced with cheltenham town.. I've managed to promote to premiership.. I've set my position as a left striker, since I'm just like a right footed Adriano.. thus said; I'm a big fat bastard up front who doesnt like to help winning the ball back and doesnt have the best team work while defending, but being a monster for retaining the possession and long shots.. also on the plus side I'd like the place inch perfect passes for the runner man.. scored several goals in the first season and selected for the U21 national team, then senior national team but it has occured to me that it was getting too easy..

so I'm trying to emulate Zinedine Zidane now.. since Cannes is not in the game, I've started with another old favourite, Strasbourg, being an AMC.. the difference between a midfielder and a striker is, you dont receive negative points for not marking your opponent.. you need a massive stamina to run up and down the field, and have to be like a fly to jink past your opponents.. it's harder playing as a midfielder, so I get lower average rating and experience points.. thus I'm not the wonderkid after half a season.. harder is better..

You've really given me a will to play these games again, and with FIFA coming out big for PC this year, I can't wait (H)

I'm glad, that's the whole point.

There used to be a good thread for the Fifa 2005 game, where some German guy used to post some really good stuff. He was the guy that made me realise Podolski was a talent, can't be bothered to look back, though.

Fifa 2005 was such an ace game.
