Kuijt became almost as good as for example Ruud is in the beginning Hes crazy, and v persie always does the trick for me!

- Replaced GK Viera with Landreau after 3 horrible bloopers in a row
- Surprisingly easy I managed to get Alex from PSV, where tons of other defenders never wanted to come even though I doubled their salaries
- Barreto is slowly becoming a top-class player after I bought him from NEC Nijmegen
- Obodo is like the new Edgar Davids for me, got him cheap from Udinese
- Bought Elliot from Sunderland first as a stand-in striker, but managed to play his way into the starting XI

Oh and Forlan became REALLY good, several stats on 95! He's like one of the best strikers in the league now, and that after I wanted to sell him the first season

On the bench I have Adu, still only 17 and a lot to learn but he gets his minutes. Also Jonathan is getting quite good, from the original Villareal talents . Juan Pablo Sorin and Tacchinardi are keeping my bench warm too, they lost the battle against the younger players...

lol wow, none of you are on ML using the default 11 players??? This is practically the best challenge of the game, to bring a crap team and take it to success and the whole process of achieving that, isn't that the whole point. Don't really see the challenge in using current squad players, its way too easy and simple, its like playing exibition games over and over again.

Anyways here are my starting eleven for REAL MADRID on 5 stars, i finally made it to 1st division, 5th season:

My two stars of the team are my two fowards which i barely could afford, but they are bringing in the goals, reason to why i managed to jump to the first league. Ruskin has improved immensely in stamina and speed, i have gotten high offers from Man United, Ascoli and other teams for him, but i rejected them all because i believe he'll keep developing and be real big for my team in the future, bigger than now.

I think i need a DM or OFM, who will be the next Galactico?????

Yes! when I was young I bought; Beckham,Carlos, Henry, Ronaldo .....


But now I start with an weaker team(Currently HSV) and try to make them better.. Thats much cooler than buying all good players..

in PES4 it was possible to make your own team and change only 3 players of exual money.
now that was great, but now if you create your own team you can choose every player you want, which i think sucks.

but anyway, i play with a good team because i'm waiting on the superpatch, after that i'm gonna start a new ML.

Yes you are correct, lol, its ok to buy stars and make ur team number 1, thats the whole point. What he meant and what i also meant before was that theres no point of starting out the ML with the actual current life players and not the default pes5 players such as Minanda, Huyens Ruskin etc......

Like look at the 1st poster on this thread, look at his team of allstars, not only does he have allstars on his starting 11 but on the bench as well, whats the point of having all those stars and winning every game (in which you should with that roster), wheres the challenge in that? no point at all

I believe the point is to enjoy yourself and do whatever you want with the game you purchased.

Why do any of you care what other people do with the PC football game?

Personally, I'm mid-season 1 and tried to purchase a 'realistic' team, whatever that means, of players I like/know (for the most part) and were on teams that weren't in my master league.

I'll start from scratch (original team) when patch comes out.

My team is the default one so I can get any challange out of it.
Just bought Carlos Martins from Sporting CP (Club Portugal, not Lisbon). A nice midfielder (comparing with the default ones) with a nice long shot (just scored a 35m yesterday).

Now that my finances are quite stable, I'm starting to buy some other players and build a nice team.

If I had started with some other team, the challange wouldn't exist.
