to Benfica fans, you can't possibly think Manuel Fernandes is better than Alberto(champions league star) and Diego(wonderkid who's started for his team since the age of 16)

I like Fernades but to put him ahead of Quaresma, Diego, and Carlos Alberto is kind of odd.

i'm surprised you didn't put Joao Perreira in that list(lol)

About Quaresma... for now he is a disapointment... about Diego, yes he's GREAT in CM... but IRL never saw nothing special(FOR NOW) so... About Carlos Alberto... maybe the only one i should put in the list.

Yeah it's funny how some people put Freddy Adu in their top 10 when he's not even the best player under 20 in MLS.

Gaven has been amazing this season and at only 17, it's almost scary to think how good he'll be when he matures physically and has more experience under his belt. Earlier this year Gaven was capped for the US national team. For comparison, Landon Donovan and DaMarcus Beasley weren't capped until they were 18 and they have turned into key players for the US NT (Donovan being arguably the best American field player right now).

I dont think you realise how big a difference two years is in soccer terms. A 15 year old US. National team would loose to an average 17 year old local team 3 out of 4 times. When you are under 20 years old each year is a huge difference. In other words if you rank Gavins current form to how good Freddy is in two years you will see a huge difference.

Yes but this thread is about the top under 20 players right now. A couple of years from now, who knows. Freddy has more potential, but right now Gaven is better.

yes he's better than Carlos Alberto, and Diego is a flop at Porto at the moment. Maybe he will improve but he will be the Roger of Porto IMO.
