Yes,
That's what Japanese officials are reporting. From J-Foot
"The Yokohama Marinos in the meantime are rumoured to be after Chilean FW Ivan Zamorano of Inter Milan as a replacement for Jou. However PSV of the Netherlands are also rumoured to be after Zamorano, possibly as a replacement for their FW Ruud van Nistelrooy who is rumoured to be -- ah what the bleep."
If this would happen, it would be truly amazing for Japanese soccer. It could be the largest transfer since Jubilo acquired Dunga in 95. Since then, the only good foreigners were Cesar Sampaio, Stojkovic, Stoichov(lost his flair), and Mboma.
The Marinos are also interested in Moroccan international FW Abdeljilil Hadda (27) on loan from Sporting Gijon (Spain Div 2). If this is succesful, the Marinos could get a full transfer.
In other J-League news, Sanfrecce Hiroshima will acquire former Portuguese international FW Miguel Simao (26) from St Johnstone of Scotland.
