Zidane on the Fifa 2003 Cover???

You see all these amazing basketball players on these homevideos with incredible dribble moves, and dunks...but are they in the NBA??? No

Davids has amazing juggling tactics...but what good is it when you can't use it via game-time.

Zidane is like a 'John Stockton' in basketball...a point gaurd if you will. He distributes the ball, controls possession, and when his team can't do it, he'll chip in a goal...or perhaps like in 2002 vs leverkeusen, hit a volley straight in the back of the net.

Meanwhile Davids is nursing injuries, and fighting for playing time at Juve.

Don't get me wrong, Davids is $$$...i've seen the Nike commercials, but if I was to put a team together to win something, I'd pick Zidane. I think Zidane and Davids would be a good midfield duo though.

I'm sorry guys, but you'll have to believe one thing. Davids technique is UNBELIEVABLE!! In 1994 when he was still playing for Ajax, me and some friends of mine played soccer with him so now and then. He lived in the same street as my best friend, near DIEMEN.

And I can tell you one thing, he could make you nuts with the ball in a telephone cell!! And then I'm not talking about myself (I was only 12 years old then) but the best streetsoccer players in A'dam, who had a really good technique. He made the guys nuts in a telephone cell and run out with the ball and the guy was still standing there....... Unbelievable......!

I'm sorry, but I've never seen or heard something like this about Zidane (and yes I agree, he's one of the best midfielders in the world).

All I can say now is: wait a couple of years and keep your eyes on Rafeal van der Vaart who plays for Ajax now. He just became 18 this year and already can't be missed by Ajax. He's going to be one of the best midfielders in the world, garanteed....

Yes I know van der vaart he's a great player although he's young. And 19 year old ismailov in locomotiw moscow is another great young player.Edgar Davids is a magician of the ball,I just love watching when his foot meets the ball.To tell you the truth I don't really love zidane's game that much.Yes he can pass well. But he can't tackle and shoot so good after all.For example rivaldo's better at shooting and aimar is better at tackling.and ortega in Fenerbahçe SK is a great player too.He can pass and tackle very well.If they asked me if I wanted rivaldo or zidane in my team I would answer "I want rivaldo".After all,Rivaldo made his team the champion of the world but zidane made france nothing(in 2002 wc).and finally the best is Hasan Þaþ :D

Zidane didn't do anything for france because he was injured...
And, in his first match against denmark (yes, denmark beaten france) zidane was the man of the match.
Did u watch World Cup???

well, i think none of the above deserves the king of football.

the real king is of course, none other than Diego Maradona himself.

No one will ever emulate him. Perhaps EA should build a time-machine and travel back to 1986 and ask Diego to do motion capturing for them. Aha. that would be the best.

lol.;)
They could also make a Fifa 1986 with weird hairstyles and tight shirts and really short shorts. Although John Motson would still qualify as he has been commentating for years now.

come on guys theres not king of the ball...every player has their own charactiristics advantages and disadvantages...Of course Davids and zidane are both (from) the best midfielders in the world now...so
You can't select the best player in the world...this is stupid..and about maraddona...and about pele...there aren't the best footballers of history of football..there are from the best..that'z all...
just my opinion

Yes I definitely watched it.But there are facts that nobody can change. It was enough for France to beat Denmark to go through the second stage. But they couldn't.Why? Because France played badly. But I think, and not only I think, that's what everyone thinks I guess : A star player is the one who saves the team from loss in a critical time even though the other members of the team play badly.A star player should have saved his team from losing against Denmark.Altough he was chosen the man of the match, that doesn't mean he's a star player. For example Alpay in Turkey was chosen the man of the match in Turkey-Japan match but he's not a star player. What I mean to say in summarization is that Zidane should have saved the day..

And you can't criticize me for what I think, It's just my opinion and not other's.Zidane's a good distributor of the ball and he makes some quick movements but that's all.You just CAN'T say he is the best shooter of the world. And I don't think he is the best passer of the ball.and he's not a french at all, he's a algerian...you shouldn't defend him more if you're a french guy (I did not look at your location)

Hey, I didn't say that Zidane is the best shooter, of course not, but he is the best playmaker, ball distributer, and... u said that Zidane didn't do nothing for france, and I say again, he was injured, but in his first match after injury, he was a man of the match.

But don't argue about those things... Real Madrid is first in Europe because Zidane scored a goal in critical moment. So, he does not score oftel like Ronaldo, Ivica Olic or somebody else, he scores when team needs something to push them forward.

Btw, Ronaldo is in Real, and next season comes Rivaldo.... Imagine that team...
A damn dream team.

Farewell people
