Mate, I followed your tutorial exactly step by step, but in game Del Piero still has old Adipure boots... I don't understand where I'm wrong. Can you tell me which "X" number have you choose for his boots ? Maybe I'm inserting a wrong number in DB...

i've inserted 140, number that not exist in game slots, have you regenerate big and bh files??

Yes, I did. I've tried with number 140, also, but nothing happens. But the very strange thing is that I've also changed Del Piero assigned boots with a number of existing Fifa boots, for example 15 (Adizero cyan-white), but in-game Del Piero still has old Adipure Black-Yellow... I don't know why, because with DBM11 I did a lot of changes, and all works fine, but boots don't change...

have you made restore all data and database ingame in options??

Zlatan, do you know how (if possible) can I change boot names ? I mean, change names of boots that are selectable in edit mode. Does this option exist in DBM11 ?

Hi Zlatan.
I wanted to assign unique boots for Cristiano Ronaldo so I found his ID (20801) then went to "players" table using DBM11 and typed 140 in shoetypeid coloumn (shoecolorcode1 is 0), then save - exit.
After that I put 3 boot files to sceneassets\shoe and gave them the correct number (140).
And nothing happened. CR is still using the default boots.
I' checked the DB and it's ok, the 140 value had been saved correctly.

What might be the problem?

If you did the modification in database correctly, then you have to delete the squads file in fifa 11 folder from your documents (where your settings are saved, your career, etc). Or you can go to edit squads in fifa menu and restore squads...

so i can't use my edited squads and at the same time have personalised boots?
only default squads are acceptable?

You've edited squads directly from fifa? Why?! Edit them in database and delete saved squads from folder fifa11 in My docs, or docs (if win7)...
And it's not default squads, it is just squads from database.
In this fifa you edit dbs but if you have saved your squads file you game will take that, not dbs...

Yes I've made a lot of boot/squad/transfer/international selelctions changes in game because I didn't know how to do it using DBM11 at that moment.
Now it wont be cool to lose all these stuff

Right!
But if you know what you modified you can modify the database...
Or you can try to edit language file and add there new boots ID's and names and then try to edit players in fifa with new boots, but don't think eanybody tryed this yet...

In teamplayerlinks in dbm search player you want to transfer, and at teamid name the team you want them to be, then change squad number (if you want). Always change position as subtitute!
