Which would you pick?
Personally I take the Zune.

if you like MP3 players as big and heavy as a brick, then the Zune is your choice.. you're probably better off just getting a PSP if you're gonna get something that big.

besides, the Zune will be dead in the water as fast as it came...remember Microsoft's Origami? The so-called "ultra-portable tablet PC" that was as big as a small TV..

I just use the cell phone to play MP3, would never buy an IPOD.

I suggest buying a phone with MP3-capability. I'm more than satisfied with my Sony Ericsson W810. Not only do I get an awesome phone with a 2-megapixel camera, it plays as many songs as a Pro Duo memory card can fit. The phone itself can be found for around $300 with a 1-gig memory card.

i got an ipod but, i don't know, i think today i would buy another player, neither zune nor ipod....

when I got my iPod all the other MP3 players out there were crap in comparison.. nowadays there are more options for sure. I got an MP3 phone too but the sound quality is rather weak so I still use the iPod.

People can say what they want about iPods, but they're still the top MP3 devices out there in terms of quality. Has nothing to do with "being cool" or whatever..

i like the look of the Zune far more than the Ipod but the whole limiting Copyright bollocks that Microsoft seem to be installing on everything (Vista etc.) really puts me off.

I'm not too keen on mp3 player phones aswell as most of the time the sounds quality seems to be compromised - i've got a Nokia 6230i and the mp3 player function is alright but notwhere near loud enough for me and the sound quality is terrible compared to the iRiver H10 i have at the moment.

I still haven't figured out how some people can hate the iPod or prefer another type of mp3 player over the iPod.

The iPod is by far the easiest, highest quality mp3 player out there. There's no competition. Sure it's not the cheapest mp3 players out there but you can't beat the price for the looks, usability and not to forget, customer service you get from Apple.

Hell, I'd pay 250 bucks for just the box the iPod comes in.

I've read a review which totally attacks the Zune. And I trust it to be right.

I also remember a nice quote from it. Something like "The Zune is really bad by now but in a few years, the newer versions, it will be good. However, by that time, the iPod will fly"
