well i'm maxed on all 3 field positions

I'm guessing you used some kind of patch? I don't know what to tell you then. I guess try to play them more. Beats me.

lol no...i play on the xbox and i've played 8 seasons...i'm just not sure how to get my players to upgrade and stuff...cuz sometimes they go up fast and sometimes they don't gain anything for a whole season...

If you focus all of your points on the midfield, the midfield players will improve. If you don't focus any points on your defenders, they won't improve.

I'm not sure if playing them does anything. You would think that it would make a difference, but I'm not sure that it does. I think it all depends on the upgrade points and how you spend them.

Well stunt remember with Heitinga after 2 games he'd get up one star and i only used the uppies on the Fitness coach, zilch on the Defence, But i've made him a CDM now with CC.

I guess you're right Surfy. I just wish that EA would post somewhere about how all of this works.

Last night, I finished my 5th season. Won the EPL and Champions League. I bought Lillian Thuram's replacement, now my defence is up to 80 or 81. I've still got 21,000 points, so hopefully Vieira, Henry or Trezeguet will retire so I can buy them.

I'm a 2 1/2 star manager, and I should get to 3 stars this year.

Your going good there Stunt into your 6th season. Well i'm about to start my career soon, I've just about finished my Mass Editing Fixing all the Rating's, Team Names, stadiums etc. Should be good.

How do you sell players to other leagues? Are players replacements any good?

to sell players to other leagues, just reject offers from your own league, and keep trying with the same person. sometimes there will be no offers from other leagues, but most of the times if you give it a few tries someone will come ringing from outside your league.

as for replacement players its all based on how good the original player was. obviously, a Football League Two reserve player's replacement wouldn't be as good as Ryan Giggs' replacement. for the most part, the replacement will end up around the same stat level as the original.

also, having good coaches in whatever position the replacement plays is a plus.

I think my FIFA disc is going bad because I've played it so much. I notice little things here and there. Hopefully it's the disc and not my XBox, that would not be cool, because I'd lose all of my careers then.

Anyway, have fun with edited rosters, stats and teams, Surfy. I'm going to go home and consider buying Nedved's replacement, or possibly Heitinga. Although, I could sell one of my strikers and get Trezeguet, but he's 31. Harewood (my right sided striker) is 29 now, and his replacement won't even compare to Trezeguet's replacement. However, I could wait to buy Trezeguet's replacement, because he'd be less expensive than buying Trezeguet, but I think Harewood's value would be alot less. So I'm stuck in between a rock and a hard place.

LoL i was going to choose them, but on second thought chose Torino they got the stadium the crowd, I'm Going to make them into a powerhouse, bought Yanigasawa and Baldini, But After my first game when it simulated other matches on 41% it CTD which sucked it was probably the CC and so i'll probably wait for the new version.

Surfy, did you know that in the 1940's, Torino was the elite club in Italy? I believe that 10 of Torino's players were starters for the Azzuri. It is said that Torino had the best team ever to play in the Serie A until May 4, 1949, when the team's plane crashed into a chapel on top of a hill on the outskirts of Turin. Ever since then, the club has not recovered. Torino and Juventus are both Turin based clubs that share the Delle Alpi.

I remember watching my "History of Football" DVDs and they had that story on there. Only one of the players was not killed, and that's because he was injured and didn't make the trip with the team. They interviewed him on the DVD, and it was quite sad what he said.

Yeah mate i know Juve and Torino share Alpi and i thought Torino were a powerhouse back in the days, But didn't know nearly the whole squad died. They were in the Serie about 2 yers ago i think, i remember watching them play agains't juve in the serie a.
