True, but it's much better when you have a person in particular to think about who you know every inch of her body and you know she's all yours. Porn was just for stupid fun but I quit and I feel really good about it.

I would be willing to test this theory.

I'm tired of porn. It's just the same sh*t over and over again. Even the sequence of it is the same. I can always predict the order of what they're going to do. People like porn because it helps them escape from reality (as do alcohol, drugs, etc.). But at the end of the day, you're only playing with yourself... quite literally.

And you don't need to be whacking off every 6 hours, or every day, or even every week. You just get in the habit of doing that. Once you break out of the habit, you'll see that it doesn't kill you to hold off for awhile. I once held out for 24 days and I didn't feel any worse - but that was while I was on vacation in Bulgaria. Once I came back to the everyday stress of life here, and back to my computer, I resumed my regularly scheduled whackin'. I think it's more of a mental thing than a physical one. It's either boredom or a reaction to stress.

But maybe someone can back me up on this (or I might be on my own here, who knows) but when im sorta working towards a girl I try and not wank or look at porn in order to sorta build my libido and collective will towards the task at hand. Anyone else like that?

Anyway, I used to be pretty bad with porn, but now its merely a means to an end.

The most ive made it was well over a month. I cant really remember how long, but it was the summer before this last one, when i was living with my family in ireland for a few months. 1. I was that way with my last girlfriend. Amazingly, I also didn't check out girls on campus while I was with her. That's a bigger feat than no porn, seeing as I pass an attractive girl about every 12 seconds when I walk around campus.
