I agree too. I'm fed up of seeing band change their sound and/or image to try and sell records. Bands like Limp Bizkit, Marylin Manson (there's a fella that would be nothing if it wasn't for his image, which I think is stupid anyway), Robbie Williams, etc. To make matters worse their music is ****e anyway.
It's not often you see genuine bands anymore that are in it for the music. I'd like to see more like Nirvana, Blur, Hendrix, Beatles. Who pushed the boundries, who weren't afraid of writing things that sounded **** as long as they were experimenting with music (especially Blur's 13, never thought I'd hear a more experimental yet fantastic record in the late 90s, early 2000s.)
Anyway, to get back to your topic. I think London Calling, although I'm not going to vote because it's a tough one and I'm not a particularly punky person. Although I like NOFX and the Clash, I don't like Sex Pistols (sort of similar reasons to first paragraph, felt they relied on controversy and image too much) Blink182 (like someone said, Backstreet Boyz with spikey hair and tattoos), Sum 41, Beverly Hills 90210.
