Kind of defeats the object of having a music forum, or any other subforums for that matter. Furthermore, that place needs all the active threads it can get

I wouldn't really include Nirvana in the same genre. I'd say that was more grunge, not that I'm an expert.

Oh and Never mind the bollocks is the best punk album I think, of those I've heard.

Does anyone consider The Damned punk-rock at all? What were they even considered?

You could be forgiven for claiming The Damned are punk rock. They ought to be revered at the same level as Sex Pistols, Ramones, The Clash, Dead Kennedys, Crass etc.
