Too many flaws in that team to think with confidence that they will stay top of the league for long, but lots of positives.

Martial didn't score today but he showed his other qualities. He is a team player, very unselfish, pacy and strong. Rooney is better in # 10 role because he has great vision. Even if he doesn't score many anymore he can still do a good job.

Smalling is a boss. He'll be a leader and I think we'll be fine with him and Blind, who is an excellent ball playing defender. He complements Smalling very well.

Oh and forgot to Mention Mata who scored 3 and assisted 3 in the EPL so fat this season. He has scored or assisted in 6/7 games. Spain and old Bosque are stupid to leave him out of the Spain NT all the time.

Other than the goal, Depay was crap. Young should play left wing IMO but more play time will do a lot of good for Depay's development.

That's good for us. I'm with the Fergie mentality. You don't have to worry that he'll get injured in a meaningless friendly or against San Marino.

I am enjoying us being top again after 2 years in the "Wilderness" of mid table BUT I am not getting carried away. The next few matches will show exactly where we are at right now. Arsenal away is a tough match, Everton away is always hard for us and City at OT... do I really need to say how massive the Derby is?
