VK Graphics — Mostly Classic Patch Content

Trying my hand at Theme editing for F14 (might create a separate thread since it isn't compatible with F16).
Testing different layouts and styles.
The idea is to have easily interchangable themes for classic patch 14 when you gancy playing a certain tournament and want more atmosphere: menus + font + soundtrack + intro videos + scoreboard.

Still choosing the best layout (e.g. one has unneeded career, another doesn't have skill games) and figuring out how to change font size/colors:

Some progress with the WC 2022 menus for F14.
Brings nice additional atmoshpere with Hayya Hayya playing in the background :D
(can't make a video, YouTube will copyright)

Managed to figure out the formation system: now the diamonds (breadcrumbs as they are called) actually change color based on the team's shirt

v2 final (and Brazil has yellow/golden player icons)

As you can see I'm still having the issue with players No. 20 (like Vinicius) only displaying "2" - need to find a way to decrease font size most likely.
And the grey font color forces me to select tile colors which could contrast - need to find a way to change font colors.

Thanks for the excellent work, mate. Can you do the host city name plates as well that appear in the middle adboard of each stadium?

Sure, I could give those a try but I'd need to dig up the original WC 2006 gracphics files without wrinkles I created.
Do you need them for a project?

How are these pngs converted to .rx3 to make them work in game?

I looked everywhere but I don't see how to convert these (or the 2006 WC dressings) into the rx3 format.

Edit: Nevermind, found a way to do it.

Hey man, amazing work as always. I already found a way to put the dressings of WC 2006, I'm so glad.

I've seen you did some dressings too for the Fifa 14 versions of Euro 2012 but due to problems you never actually released them. Any chance you have those dressings? The Fifa 16 versions I've seen they have the same problem (the walls don't admit dressings) but maybe they can be added manually even if they look a bit weird, it's certainly better than nothing. Because now Euro 2012 is the only tournament since 2004 without any dressing at all.

I'm pretty sure Donbass Arena would use the generic tournament file, being an EA stadium.
As for the other venues, I don't know which versions exist for F16 as I play F14.

Yes, Donbass Arena does support the dressings (I tried with Euro 2004 dressing to test), but most of the other venues (if not all of them) don't support it, they are the same than in Fifa 14.

What I said you didn't release is the dressing itself, I saw in those posts that you were doing tests and had the generic purple dressing for the stadiums that you used in Donbass and Warsaw.


I'm still very new with this, but I would like, if you have the textures, to give it a try and find a way to dress the stadiums manually or something. But would be a good first step if you still have the dressing and could share it.

Well I can make a generic Euro 2012 dressing but as you mentioned the custom stadiums won't support it.

So I can suggest that you take the individual F16 stadium rx3s, open them with rx3master and try replacing the grey wall graphics with purple Euro 2012 ones.

Just download a stadium, open the stadium_xxx_textures_1 (day) and stadium_xxx_textures_3 (night) rx3 files with Rx3master and try to find the textures that look like they would be dressing, change the texture, save and ready.
