I like the monkey's picks except for Nashville beating Detroit. I don't see the wings going out in the first round again. Honestly, I think Detroit is going to win the cup, let's hope it's Legace in net and not Joseph or we'll never hear the end of it in Toronto.:(


And Rochester Rhino, yes we need another thread for the playoffs. We did it last year and it worked well. The other thread is already too big and having a new thread for the playoffs is a good idea.

Everyone in Toronto is too confident about the Leafs winning easily. Sure we won 6-0 on Saturday, but the Sens kicked our ass 7-1 or whatever it was. I'm not being a pessimist but people here are reading too much into the regular season wins.

We need to go into this series as a regular series, and forget the 6-0, we shouldnt underestimate Ottawa, or any team in the playoffs, either then that the Leafs look pretty good, and can beat any team man to man, we need tucker and klee to come back soon to help out.

yep, thank God though that Pat Quinn said in an interview that it may have been a 6-0 win but it didnt look like a 6-0 win, so they wont go into the playoffs with a "we own them" attitude :)

Leafs do not have Tucker for atleast half the series against Ottawa..granted Ottawa are weaker this season than last but they are goina bring it against one team every season and that is the Leafs. I do not think that Detroit will have a cake walk against San Jose in the West final. And the Leafs are goina have to beat the much younger and much FITTER Tampa Bay squad inorder to get to the Stanley Cup final..ain ;t goina be easy. Plus, they are a #4 seed..home ice will count for something against Boston or Tampa if they beat Ottawa but they ain' t got home ice against any team unless there are upsets so it will be tougher on a VETERAN group!

goddamn! i just hate when we play the Avs in playoffs.. we've always failed in previous seasons when we played the playoffs against 'em :( ! but this time we won't! i can guarantee it! (at least i hope:) ) . we've had a pretty good streak in the fnish line of the season, so i hope that this dash won't descend in the upcoming games!
