PS: Brodeur winning the Vezina was absolute bull****, Luongo should've taken it :kader: all Brodeur did this season was prove that he cant do **** without Scott Stevens... not saying he's a bad goalie, he's one of the best in history, but he really didn't deserve it as much as Luongo

I disagree with this award completely. First, the award should be given to the coach that has the biggest impact with their team. Tortorella was runner up last year when he should've won the award because he turned the franchise around and got into the playoffs.

This year, Sutter should be the winner for the reasons I stated above. Coach of a small market team that hasn't made the playoffs in 7 years, makes the playoffs, 1 goal away from the stanley cup. You can't ask for a bigger turnaround then that. The writers who voted were completely wrong and voted Tortorella based on winning the cup.

The other award that was completely wrong was Brodeur winning the Vezina. Brodeur didn't have a good year, had a mediocre playoff and didn't play like the Brodeur of old. The deserving goalie was Luongo who faced the most shots in the history of hockey and still held a good record, GAA, and save %.

they have standings of every season, but i cant locate playof results from each season, unless that was recently added, ill have to check
